SPRING DANCE!!

By Rohit (March 7th, 2004)

So obviously you can tell me excitement from these pictures. Well, so the day started with me lulling around before I realized that I had a couple things to take care of and there wasn't enough TIME!!! I was an hour late to pick up my date and her friends which by that time, we'd cancelled plans to all meet at Melissa's house and instead go directly to Lorenzo's (an Italian place). The bread at the beginning was awesome (so was the oil), but the actually dinner took 30 minutes to arrive! By that time, it was 7:15 and the dance had already started.

We ended up actually arriving at the dance at 8:30 and stood in line for pictures till 9:00. But then the dance began. I was grooving, and D was the only one who brought his digital camera inside (click here to see D's pictures). Well anyway, so I don't even recall where the time went, but the punch was refreshing enough that we went back for the last two songs. There were many couples there...with the exception of James who had a three-some going on. Let's see so, Karishma and I, Jason and Kd, Vicky and Dev, Jon H. and Heather, D and Melissa, Calvin and Vivian (duh), Andrew and Crystal, and Chris H. and his date were all present at Lorenzo's. Alex and his loser date were at some other table. Unfortunately, Alex didn't enjoy his dance because of date complications and I really am sorry for that, but I hope he gets ready for Prom because that IS the REAL dance (and hopefully we will arrive on time then).

So...it was time for the after party...with music, drinks, and TRUTH OR DARE! Actually, I don't even want to go into that because I'm sure most of you know by now.

Ok, well so the after party was great. Then I dropped my date to her home and returned myself. It had been a great day. Well especially for me, I had an amazing time. Thanks Karishma ;-).

Oh, also, some hobos joined us at the after party. Specifically, Jon Li, Anu, Dave H., and Sully. But obviously, they had been 'enjoying' themselves (good for them), and they wanted 'more of it', so they left (good for us)
